Communities of Practice

The Industry Partnership supports six Communities of Practices (CoP’s) for specialised responses in key areas.

Our CoP’s promote a place where you can share best practice, collaborate to address issues across the sector, contribute to reports and advocacy opportunities and discuss areas of interests and connect with other SHS sector professionals.

We’d love to have you on board.

Each CoP meets at least three times per year. Details of meetings, facilitators and more can be found below.

Aboriginal Community of Practice

This CoP is for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Identified workers across NSW that work in the SHS sector. The objective is to provide support and improve outcomes for Aboriginal Workers and individuals. The Aboriginal CoP will do this by drawing on its experience, expertise, networks and consultation with the local Aboriginal community and all stakeholders. The CoP also is the lead voice on establishing The ACCORD and supporting its implementation.
