This program is exclusively designed for the Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) Sector, offered at no cost.

The Homelessness Accreditation Diploma of Leadership and Management program has been transformed into a microcredential format to meet the evolving needs of the SHS workforce. Registrations are via the Learner Portal.    

The new format offers standalone workshops that can be completed in any order with or without assessment.  

You now have the power to choose your individual learning journey: 

• Option 1: Dive into any workshop of interest for professional development, without the pressure of assessments. Perfect for those wanting to refine specific skill areas while skipping the assessments. 
• Option 2: Attend workshops and complete assessments to earn national recognition for the units of competency covered. With this microcredential, you’ll showcase your expertise as your progress through your career. 
• Option 3: Embark on the full journey! Attend all five workshops and complete assessments in any order to achieve the prestigious Homelessness Accreditation Diploma of Leadership and Management. A highly respected and recognised badge of honour for SHS leaders.

Flexibility:  Workshops are spread throughout the year, giving you the freedom to pick and choose dates that suit your schedule. Plus, you will be kept informed of any upcoming workshops. Don’t worry if a course fills up fast—simply place your name on the waitlist and secure your spot. 

Who is eligible to register?  

All new and emerging leaders working in the SHS sector are eligible to register for the microcredential program. We encourage anyone joining the program to ensure they have the endorsement from their manager.
