Sector Worker Wellbeing Survey 2026

The 2026 SHS Workforce Wellbeing Survey is now open.

The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience of working in the SHS sector, including wellbeing, workload, workplace culture and the pressures of the work.

Your feedback will help build a clearer picture of what workers and organisations need to support a safe, healthy and sustainable workforce.

Who can participate?

The survey is open to workers from organisations funded by Homes NSW to deliver:

  • Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS)
  • Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP)
  • Core and Cluster (C&C)
  • Aboriginal Homelessness Sector Growth Project (AHSGP)

About the survey

  • Takes 10–15 minutes
  • Is confidential and de-identified
  • Is independently administered by Insync

Selecting your service name

When you complete the survey, you will be asked to select the name of the service you work for.

If you work across multiple services or are unsure which service name to select, please check with your manager before completing the survey. Selecting the correct service is important to ensure your response is associated with the right team.

Managers: Please support your team to select the correct service name before they complete the survey. This will help ensure responses are accurately linked to your team and that your organisation receives the most useful results.

Turn feedback into action

The survey findings will help inform practical support and resources for the SHS workforce.

Following the survey, organisations may also be eligible for funded coaching and wellbeing resources to help turn survey insights into action.

  • There are 40 funded one-to-one coaching places available for selected organisations.
  • Insync survey platform access for selected organisations, with a further 20 platform licences available.
  • Organisational survey data available for eligible organisations with 10 or more responses.
